Review Artwork

1. How is the reviewer notified of this pending activity?

The reviewers are notified by an email after the designer completes Artwork Upload activity.

ManageArtworks provides each user with multiple inboxes within the Workflow module which are programmed to receive different types of notifications. My Inbox stores notifications of pending tasks for a user.

My Inbox notifications are also shown on the home page under Dashboard.

2. What happens when more than one user is selected by the project initiator for reviewing the artwork?

All the users marked for this activity by the initiator will receive email notifications simultaneously after the designer designer completes Artwork Upload activity.

3. Should all the reviewers approve the artwork for the step to be completed?

Everyone must approve for the review activity to be completed. For more details, visit Review Artwork

4. Where does the reviewer go to see the project, SKU and component details?

Request Info is the default tab displayed when you open an activity in a workflow. Details filled by the initiator are available here. For more details, visit Review Artwork

5. Where does the reviewer go to view the artwork?

Go to Files to view the artwork. The name of the artwork and details such as file name, version number, file type, added by and added date are displayed in a table format. Click eye icon under Actions to open the artwork file in ManageArtworks Viewer. Click download icon to download file to your desktop.

6. How does the reviewer access and use the checklist?

When the reviewer opens the file in ManageArtworks Viewer, checklist is loaded with the artwork. Respond to questions in the check list with a yes, no or NA (not applicable). If your response is No, you need to provide comments rights there. Click Approve after filling the checklist.

7. What are the tools available for the reviewer within the viewer?

Annotation tools are available for the reviewer within the ManageArtworks Viewer.

8. How does a reviewer approve or reject the artwork?

There are three action buttons available to the reviewers within this activity: Approve, Reject and Save.

  • Approve – Complete the review activity and move to the next activity.
  • Reject – Send for artwork update by designer.
  • Save – Save work and revisit later for completing this activity.
9. What is the next step if a reviewer rejects the artwork?

When a reviewer rejects the artwork, workflow proceeds to Update and Upload Artwork step where the designer incorporates the reviewer's comments and submits the revised version of the artwork. ManageArtworks manages version control automatically. Note: When rejecting an artwork, reviewer has to compulsorily provide comments.
